March 25th, 2017
5:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.
Old Trace Park, Ridgeland, MS (Map It)
Be sure not to miss the 5th Annual Run Up for Downs on March 25th, 2017, at Old Trace Park as we raise funds to start up The Lily Pad! The Lily Pad will be Central Mississippi’s first cafe that will employ and train individuals with disabilities so that they can learn significant life/career skills, and also gain employment throughout the community. Our goal is to raise $500,000 to get The Lily Pad off the ground so we need your help to spread the word! A portion of proceeds will still go to The Little Light House of Central Mississippi and the Central Mississippi Down Syndrome Society.
You do NOT have to be a runner, walker, or jogger to attend. The event will be kicked off with a 1 mile fun run, followed by a 3.21 run/walk. There will be live music by two great local bands, an amazing silent auction, jump zones for the kids and new this year, The Up for Downs Food Row, which will feature food from some of your favorite restaurants!
We also have a School & Corporate Challenge where you can sign up for your school or place of business team. The top school in the School Challenge will win a Fundraising night at the Flowood, Brandon and Ridgeland locations of Lost Pizza with a % of proceeds going directly to the winning school.
